Removing seats
anybody know the best way to remove the seats from a 6n2 polo gti, just want to give them a good clean and if it's easy to take them out I'll do it that way
the rear bench should just clip out real easy ( lift the front then pull up on the back you see a metal frame that slots into 2 hoels in the car just bend them out of the holes and thats out.
the front seats may be tricky as im not sure if they have side airbags built into them i know the 9n has but im not sure if they started putting them in the 6n2.
all i can say is look for the bolts and undo them and remember where you put them

i have done this when i got my leather interior sooooooo easy!
the rear bench: do the bottom part first lift up and out and there is like levers or something that just press and comes off then so the backs u need a screwdriver to press in the hinges on both sides and thats it
the fronts: slide right back there is one screw think its an alan key undo it and lif and slide further back it comes right out
dead easy hope it helps
