Which Photoshop package?

Hi,
Can anyone advise me on the best photoshop package to buy?
Looking at investing in one but not sure which to go for without spending too much money!
I have seen Elements 5 very cheap at around £30 without manual or box on eBay....has anyone used this?

Well I use Adobe Photoshop CS2 if that helps you somehow :)
