Got new steelies for the G40!

They're off a vento, they look pretty pimp! However i've decided my car needs to be a hell of a lot lower now. Heres a couple of pics:

Im upgrading the suspension to the 60/40 HnR cup kit which should be with me early next week also. Im chuffed its finally coming on abit!

Nice wheels mate! Better looking than G60s (and better suited to the mk3 at that), the extra bit of dish sets them off well.

Im not sure of a part number...there will be one somewhere on the wheels im guessing though! But they are 14 x 6 steelies off a VW Vento. So shouldnt be too hard to look up :)

are they not just painted steelies with a trim ring?

if so trim ring in chrome is 1H0 601 157 A V7L - £62.04 inc vat for 4

Nice wheels, but they're off a Mk2 Golf, not a Vento. These were fitted to the late spec Mk2 Driver and GTD, and they're quite hard to find. Most have the earlier type with about twice as many holes.

Vento wheels, for reference, have different shaped holes like the 15" G60 steelies. Similar, but different.

Haha, no worries, just being a hair-splitting car geek, lol!

I've considered a set of these for mine, several times, but never been able to afford to change due to the cost of putting tyres on them.
