mk4 polo petrol flap...

how do you remove it ?

i had a look yesterday (in the boot behind the central locking pump etc.. but its too far forward looks like the rear door card needs to come off ??

just wondered if there is a quick/easy way to do it ?

If it's anything like the MK5 one Foxie, then I think the rubber type lining comes out from around the actually filler cap (not the flap) and there's a couple screws.

Or at least I think that's the way the bodyshop guy was telling me it's done.

if you open it foxie,,,its got a rubber sorround inside with two metal circular clips in it,,,remove that then unlip the plastic casing from the bodywork,,,theres a metal pin holding the actual cap onto the casing..
