OZ on the gti **NEW PICS ADDED**

Post by gazmangti »

Hi all,
Managed to get the wheels cheap with 4 new goodyear eagle f1 tyres. These are a bit old pictures as I have recently had the window tinted and lowered.

What do you guys think?

I've got a set of OZ Superleggeras as winter wheels, so I'm inclined to say they look good!

I did some research and the oz superleggras are the lightest performance wheels on the market. They also prove mazium cooling for brakes and also look good. Mine do need refirbing though, looking a bit taty.

Need some spare wheels in the mean time.

Dont spose anyone has any in bristol area i could borrow?

That was why I bought mine years ago. The 15s weigh only 4.9kgs each, which is fairly light and has the benefit of reducing unsprung weight.

Yeh when i bought the car last year they had bbs replicas. Which looked good at the time. When i did the brakes they weighed a tonne.
When i came across the oz i put them on. Didn't look that good at first. but now the car has been lowered and windows tinted. they look loads better.

I will get some pics tommorrow.

Yeh don't see any gti's in bristol. Im from sea mills/ shirehampton way. You?

Cheers

What tyres are on the OZs? They look like 195/50/15s?

I was after a set once to run as winter rims like Redline but they are hard to come by. Settled on some alternative rims now! 8)

Cheers

They are Goodyear eagle F1 GS3D'S 195/50/15. Best tyres I think.
