Did you know that getting on a bus will set you back a whole POUND! Say for example you need to get 2 buses to work and 2 back because you have to pay the b1cth a55 Cengestion Charge if you go by car plus eveywhereis Residential Parking. That works out to be £4 a day on buses and £20 a week. I use less petrol than that in a week!
Oh and yes the weekly bus pass is not that much cheaper! If i'm not mistaken it's £10.50 for a weekly Adult Bus Pass. It's a lot to be paying for a smelly ride with crying children and bus stops every 300metres!
So you have to pay £10.50 for these luxuries..... for a whole week!

Would'nt know about how much London buses/Underground cost as i get free travel, but i know you can buy a bus saver pass which also save you money (not sure how much). You could regester for the oyster card on prepay again it saves you money on the underground and when it is introduced on the buses in a few month i guess you would get money off too.
Well, I had a meeting in Manchester last night (business, on a Sunday?!)
Anyway, tried to get a train from either leciester, loughborough or nottingham to manchester on a sunday - can't do it - you have to go to sheffield and then catch a bus!. Plus it would have taken either 3.5 hours or 4.5 hours, depending on who you spoke to...
So, took the polo. Took 2 hours either way (even in the rush hour this morning). Cost a whole £8 to park overnight in the city centre. Plus about £20 petrol.
And the lentilists wonder why people won't leave their cars at home???
Deek.
