You'll need to put two small holes in the plate....then climb under thecar and slip the cable ties in from behind...snip with scissors or cutting tool of some sort. Job done.

Could use the cable ties coupled with a plate surround...
Cable ties through the holes in the surround, mount that to the grille, then just pop the plate in... would even make it easy to switch between legal and german plates.

I was about to ask this question. Anything to use so that you don't have to drill holes or put cable ties over the plate? Everyone sure about that Velcro stuff in Halfords as I use it on the bumper and the back just peels off the plate, and there would be less surface area on the grille wouldn't there?

Now that's an interesting one. I was thinking of some sort of clips to put behind the plate, then tie something through them

just stick with the sticky number plate fixers, they do the job great. When it comes to taking the plate off the grill ,a little pull and its off.

Cable tie the number plate surrounds to the grill (no drilling required) and then put ur plate into the surround. Also means as stated above that you can have german plates on and change them to fully legal ones in less than 30 secs

yip they are normally on the parts desk at your local halfords, its the thicker ones remember, if you get the thin ones it wont stick (i found out the hard way)
