On my GTI my revs only go up to 6,000 and then drop down never touchs 7,000, i was wondering does this happene to any opne else is this normal for GTI does it have a trip ?

Try cleaning your throttle body - can make a world of difference. Wynns Fuel Intake and Carb Cleaner from halfords...the best stuff for it and its less than a fiver
It should only limit when it hits the red line btw

Well i cleaned it and when i rev it only goes to 6,00 revs i cant get it to 7,000 i don't know why that it may have a limitor or something

i remember when i was learning to drive, the car i leant in had a problem like that,i can't remember what it involved or what it was called cos it was ages ago, all i can say is it's worth checking your electrics

Because it's a GTi and produces its peak power at 6500rpm?
