Rear speakers

My rear speakers are not working does anyone know why, and before anyone ask i do have speakers in there i just dnt know why they not working thanks

Check the connection on the back of the head unit. Have they worked previousely?

I think it was an extra at the time - what reg is yours? Somebody said the early ones didnt have that as a standard

I got 2 speakers in the front and tweeters on the doors. Nothing in the back at all. Not even fake grill where the speakers should be

Mine is X REG 2000, i have the grills at the back with the speakers but they dnt work lol

think the previous owner might have disconnected them or he might have put the wires in the wrong pace in the headunit

my'ns a Y 2001 and its got rear speakers

we are talkin about the ones just under the rear seats in the side pannels yes? not in the back next to the parcel shelf?

hmm, ye i got them, strange how some gti's dont, still there not that expensive to purchase, are they the same size as the ones in the front doors?
