Help...tatty wheels!

Post by JKM_GTI »

Looks like my Polo will be going soon, only thing is the alloys are letting it down big time!

The centres are fine, but the rims have the usual lacquer problem...

Whats the best way to sort this? Ideally it will be a cheap method and won't take long (time is one thing I haven't got at the mo!)

Thanks in advance,
Joe

Either a) do it yourself or b) as above have them done professionally.

Depends on how bad the laquer corrosion is, whether there's any kerbing etc as to how long it would take to do yourself. But if they're not too bad it could be done in 2-3 days if you have the time to devote to it.

i would do it your self mate, just split the rims and rub'em down and polish them up its cheaper than gettin them refurbed.
