just wondering if anyone has led'd the dash and or switches in a mk2 polo

if so what'd you use and how did it come out...any patchyness on the dials ?

is there room in a mk2 switch for a led?

right got her done ...here a couple of pics

take it apart and install some 3mm led's behind each logo....i used standard green led's and a blue/red led for the cold/hot positions, you could scrape off the coloured film on the back of the filter if you wanted to use another colour like for a blue dash or suchlike

stuck down with hot glue...bit of chrome tape to make it reflect, thread the wires out where the old bulb was

pic looks a bit blury due to my pants photo taking skills...its very nice and not blurry at all in person

fag lighter needs at least 2 led glued to the back of the lense

yeah its something to do when you are bored ...doesnt cost alot in parts either
