Hello all, just stumbled across this site and thought I would say hello.

Some members might know my car and if anyone has any info or especially videos I would be gratefull if you could let me see them.

The car I bought was the mid engined 1.8 20v turbo mk 3 polo that Ian Birch built.

Since buying it it has mainly been used on the drag strip getting faster all the time due to stripping weight and getting a little more power
My pb this season is 11.69@121mph !

At the moment it is wasy getting a fully forged engine so I can run more boost and finally get to use the nitrous system.
Before this engine work the car produced just over 300 bhp at the wheels with one wheels smoking like buggery, I have since fitted a Peloquin diff and now it outs the power down much better.

My aim is to have running a high 10 sec pass next year.

Also at my last event at York Redline magazine where there doing a shoot with the car so look out for it in the January issue.

welcome mate, that sure is a beast of a car you've got yourself there!!

seen a couple of videos of it in action, one in particular at a PVW shootout where it squirmed down the airstrip and then popped a flame! :D

sooooooo cool!

Is that too long for youtube ?

You could try streetfire.net .

Please let me know if you manage to post it anywhere.

Cheers
