16" BBS RXII alloys

Post by M@Turner »

Well, seen as i aint getting much luck with selling my car with these on, and the stud pattern wont fit my new car, i'm regretably selling these fantastic wheels!

So as i'm sure you all know, 4x100, 16 x 6.5j, et...not sure!!

These were recently refurbished by myself, centres were sand blasted then powder coated in "Chromium". Rims, were sanded down through all the grades and polished using a polished compound with the aid of a polishing mop attached to a drill. Mirror finish 8) These were also fitted with 195/40/16 Yokahoma tyres possibly less than 1500 miles ago so they're only just scrubbed in properly!!

Sorry i aint got any close up pics from when i first did them but they looked spot on! Obviously the crappy British roads have had bit of a go at them, but they just need a quick sanding down with fine stuff then re-polishing!! Will probs do this on my next day off!

So down to the nitty gritty: I know these are really sort after, so thought i'd give you all ONE chance of PMing me with your best offer! I have a price in mind so if this aint matched/beaten they'll be going on Ebay!!!

Thanks

No way do 16" RX's go for that money nowadays! Maybe a year or 2 ago...wouldnt think they'd fetch more than £400 unfortunately!

I'd make you an offer but i'v got a feeling you'll be asking for way more than i am willing to pay!

Seems a tad pricey for RXIIs? Not really sure on what they go for but Im glad you set a reserve on the ebay item Mat! Definantly worth a hell of a lot more than the final bid!!

I've seen sets go for around £600 - £700 for some in good condition like these are!!!

Had quite a few people interested when i first mentioned they were for sale and 2 people offered me £600+. But with Christmas, think money became a little tight so they backed out!!! I'll probably accept anything over £500 but i'm in no rush to sell. The sale of these will hopefully fund the purchase and refurbishment of show rims for the new GTi.
