Cream Leather Interior (New Pics 22/02/2008 - Page 2)

Post by mc_iver_9n »

Well finally got round to starting to sort out the interior. Some of you may have seen these grubby looking seats in the for sale section.

Cheers Tomo for pointing these out mate. Ended up buying them for £454 - which i think is a steal.

They cleaned up like new. Ill let the pics do the talking.

I fitted them myself on Wednesday. I havn't fitted the front door cards yet as they are electric and I'm still rocking the winders. haha.

Anyway - What do you guys and girls think?

Was tempted with these myself but didn't think it included the rear door cards, guess I should have asked!

They finish off the interior extremely well. 8)

Cheers for all the positive feedback fellas. Yer im so glad aswell Tomo - thanks again for pointing them out! they cleaned up well - they are not perfect but better than paying £1200 new from VW. :D

Yer David the airbag wires were just unplugged from a socket under the seat. Disconnected the live on the battery for 15 beforehand to minimise the risk of them going off in my face

Tryed to take a pic through the windscreen but was too much glare at the time. But ill have better pics soon hopefully.

Also I'm thinking of just getting the front door cards and gear gaitor re-trimmed to match as my mate at VW said electric windows would be a bit of a bugger to install. But ill see what happens.

very nice mate! i think they suit the colour of the car well!

electric window install would be a b***h i do believe, Doug's bought some leccy windows for his Vento and he reckons it will be 2 day job, although he does have 4 doors!

Thanks Jeff. I wanted black leather originally but these were such a steal i couldn't say no! Yer they have the plug for the heated seats but tbh theres not alot of point in wiring it in when I can start the car from inside my house and get the heaters running. haha.

Cheers Dan. Yer I think i'm just going to stay old skool with the work-out windows!

Thanks Gary - I agree mate - been looking for new wheels for a few months now. But think it will prob be approaching summer before a change - Look at my wheels as winter wheels :D
