But before i go buying the new bulb i was wondering about upgrading them! Ive got friends who have m3's and they have all upgraded there hallogine bulbs 2 higher spec ones that change the collour of the light the bulb gives out (they stay blue like they r when u first switch them on!)
Not very legial but looks the nuts!
So was just wondering what has people on here done with there lights!

Ill get some pics sometime soon.

But basically I have Xenon HID Dipped and Main beam headlights, and Ultra bright xenon white LED fog lights and sidelights.

The fog lights are one of a kind :D

lights seem to be the talk of the week on here!!

I've got 9 cluster LED sidelights, which are about to be upgraded to better ones

And have ice white full beams and fogs which are also in the process of getting upgraded

£25 a pair will give you a good upgrade on the fogs and full beams, check out www.powerbulbs.com for them, (i have some full beam bulbs for sale if your interested 8) )

www.Ultraleds.co.uk do good sidelights too.

alternatively you could go nuts (much like Alex!) and HID all of them,

you can pick up kits from 4k up to 12k (from white to blue to a purple kinda light if you want!) and a good kit will set you back about £150-200

Someones got to :D And that person happens to be me!

Mine are a full 6000k set, but for the most usable light go for 5000k or 4300k. 5000k gives you a perfect crisp white light with a tiny blue tint, 4300 is a white, but a little yellower than 5000k

6000k is a blue white, which in my opinion provides a very good light indeed, but perhaps not as useful as 5000k.

Make that £150 because you're supposed to change both your bulbs at once, because the colours change noticeably over time

You won't have any problems with the Police unless you go really blue, like 12000k or something. If they start stopping people for having xenons they'll start with lads who've done crappy halogen->xenon conversions with frosted headlights, you'll be fine in a GTI

lol musta been cut backs - there was nothing to stop them getting hella to make 9n or 9n3 headlight units with projection lenses! They did it on the eos - maybe they dont think the polo is worth it!
