Just been offered a 500 quid 6n2 polo in very good nick with a snapped cambelt and a gearbox which is on it way out by a costomer of mine!
So i was thinking what 2 do with it!
20vt :D Now i got the gti so im thinking of doing this just 2 c if i can then proberly sell it afterwards! so has any1 done this before? what needs changing/ modifing 2 fit and so on!
O and a list of parts needed would be good!
Obvisuly a 20v and gearbox but what else!

Sounds like a bit of fun - for less than the price of a used GTi you could have a 20vt sleeper! :)

well thats the idear but ive spent most of the afternoon looking this up and as of yet havent atcherly found how this conversion is done! as in what parts r used, what mounts, what ecu, what engine and box is best easest 2 use, r there any vag driveshafts that fit, engine loom, gearlinkage, subframe and so on and so on!

Problem is know1 seems 2 have done this conversion them selfs just paid companys 2 do it for them and they dont want 2 give there secrets away!
