The Ultimate Dubs 2008 picture thread

Post by Si_GTi »

The usual rules - please post all your UD 2008 photos here, and try and make sure they are the thumbnail versions if at all possible, or if like me you use Photobucket, maybe just a link to your Photobucket gallery? This way it is quicker to load for users on slow connections ;)

My pictures will be up soon after some resizing and numberplate blanking :)

Cheers

Nice Photos, Don't know why but I just thought there would be something amazing. Were there any unique cars that specifically stood out?

Brilliant photos Si 8)

I like the 9N3 CrossPolo, and the first Yellow MK1 looks hot. And it looks like Bryony has some new wheels on her Bolf :)

Roll on the Spring Fest; can't wait!

MaxZ, can't say that there were any cars there that truly made me stop and stare, but some really nice examples of new and familiar cars on the show scene. For example Greg's mk4 Golf was in attendance, with a colour change from reflex silver to a Lamborghini LP640 colour (some kind of Gold hue). The Belgians were out in force again, which is always nice to see!

Lots of cars sporting colour-coded BBS splits in all different colours and sizes, seems to be very much an "in" look at the moment.

I was disappointed to see that outside, the spot that the uk-polos stand took last year was in fact EMPTY. At least 6 if not 8 spaces with no cars to be seen! But the organisers claimed that all space had been booked?

And Bryony does indeed have some new wheels, looked like 19" BBS from an Anni edition Golf?

Couple of spaces up from Bryony's Bolf there was a black mk4 Golf estate with a Bora front end swap, I was wandering past once to hear someone say "oh look, a Bora estate!"

Yep, I just got home and have to say it was a great event. The clubstands were empty a bit, which could've been taken up by someone. The Belgiums were out in force, I loved the 2 Passats and A8 which looked like proper pimp rides and my local ends cars ie Riky's Bolf and Kaps 6n.
