VW Fox Launched in Brazil
The Fox, widely assumed to also be the Tupi (i.e. the Lupo replacement) appears to have been launched in Brazil:

Confirmation that this *is* the Lupo replacement is here. But we all pretty much knew that anyway.
There was a popular mk3 polo special edition called a "Fox". (I remembers these too).
The MK1 Jetta was called a Fox in the North American market.
AFAIK:Hey, was just thinking wasn't there a model call 'Fox' many many years ago? The reason I recognise this is I'm sure we had one when I was a toddler!

cant say I like it at all.
looks like a yaris. its supposed to be dead cheap when it comes out though. like 5k for the base model I heard. much prefered the lupo but I think VW are having to re-think their strategies these days.
people dont seem willing to pay the extra for a VW badge anymore, so many of the cheaper cars in the market have just as good build quality & reliability.
sad really, mk5 golf sales are reportedly very low as well. personally I think its a bit too early to judge that though. but newspapers are jumping on it saying its the end of the golf etc...
