Do you ever give a bad driver a well deserved w@nker hand gestures or other obscenity? (say yes and make me feel better!)

Yes, and proud of it! Makes me feel better and they deserve it so why not?

w@nker hand gestures and other obscenities

Do you do this?

I don't very often....but sometimes they just deserve it! Mine are always followed by the thought 'Rachel you probably shouldn't have done that'

Like just now, out of work you have to pull out onto a country road and you can't see that far when you look to the right because there is a corner and hedges, so you just gotta go, so I pull out and this car comes around the corner still quite far away mind, beeping at me! I mean yeah it had to break but not excessively and only cuz it was going fast... but they should also realise that wasn't my fault and should be concentrating on breaking not friggin beeping-hardly going to turn my 1ltr into a tork beast is it?

The window was open so I relaxedly (if he'd a crashed he'd have to have paid for it) stuck my hand out and gave them 'the sign' and muttered to myself about what a tw@t they were... they gave me one back- a less classy mimiced sign from behind the wheel. Then they turned off.

I also tend to do it when people sit in my blind spot.

*ahem* I'm a nice girl really!

Plus one of my male friends does it pretty often, and I am easily influenced...ok excuses over - now answer my poll cuz im genuinely interested in this one... :D

yeah i'm pretty fast to my horn but occasionally there will be hand gestures and/or shouting of a few choice words.
Like a few weeks ago when a wagon nearly squished me against a traffic island by suddenly pulling in, there was a loud beep and shouts then!!!
As Rachel said...I'm a nice girl really! :D

Because I do alot of driving for my job, i tend to be giving people the finger a hell of a lot....probably because a hell of a lot of people on the roads are complete w*nkers!

Especially Mums in huge 4x4s or people carriers who just sit on your rear bumper when driving...really gets to me! lol :)

I've only done it to a lorry driver who came off the wrong lane in a roundabout and almost crushed me when I had my Fiesta. Tooted at him and gave him the w**k sign

I dont do this at all thinking about it, i just shake my head in a patronising & disaproving way if they are looking & then follow up by cutting them up or deliberately making my car sound faster than theirs  ...to be fair though i am a Tw*t

once just shaking my head caused some guy to start chasing after me, revving and swerving towards me & opening his door about to get out when were in traffic lol

i do the head shake thing quite a lot and am generally a calm driver. i only remember giving the finger a couple of times, once in my early driving days and then again only last year at a lorry driver who had tooted and given me a gesture because me and Hollie were cruising back from a show at 40mph on the motorway, as Hollie's car was down on power and thats all she could get out of it!

Hollie on the other hand will shout at anybody  she makes a point of showing people her disgust when the other person has blocked up a roundabout exit/entrance!
one guy even offered her a fight, to which she accepted and he backed down  I wouldn't mess with her when she has a miff on

I may aswell tell a little story from the M1 coming back from Northampton the other day then!

I was in a hurry to get home, i was in the outside lane and this lad in a megane was in front, i wasn't up his arse as such but when i saw the other 2 lanes were empty and he didn't budge from the outside lane i moved a little closer to make him aware to move over! Well he didnt, then i saw him flipping out and went to slam his brakes on and because the other 2 lanes were empty when he slammed on i just slid into the middle lane and undertook him...that's when i got angry!

Anyways, he then undertook me and there was no room for him to get into the outside lane but he literally tried to squeeze me off the motorway! and shoved in! I had to slam on which I wasn't happy about but i knew enough was enough, this other guy obviously had issues so he wanted me to pull over so he could obviously have a fight....

So we both got into the slow lane, he pulled at the service station and thought i was but then blasted it off....so he either a) was annoyed that i didnt pull over so he got what he wanted or b) thought i was a pussy!

Some people on the road make me laugh, i just blew kisses at him and pointed and laughed...I think that's the best possible thing you can do as opposed to giving someone the 'sign'!

But after all that, I was thinking to myself "all he had to do was move over like he should have done and none of this would have happened"

Then later I saw a sign on the m1 saying "don't hog the middle lane"...made me happy as that annoys me the most on the M1"

The end.
