little help

Post by taylor86 »

righty hoe,
currnetly in the process of saving for a gti, just lookin at wheel options.
im think 9x16s on the rear (et45) and 7.5s upfront in either et50 or 55.

will i have major issues arch wise?

I imagine 9x16s would be hell unless you had alot of work done to the arch. 7.5 at the front wouldn't cause massive problems.

I'm running 16 x 7.5j et35 up all round, dropped ~40mm without any issues at all.

9X16s would be an absolute joke mate, I really wouldn't try it. they'll look like this:

^^ that is probably 9X16, 7.5X16 or something very close. Looks silly and undrivable without major arch work/air ride.

If you want wide wheels stick to 15s,
