Hi all
I'm new here so hello to everyone, my past cars have included peugeot gtis, minis and bmw m5 but now i have a cheap old mk2 polo. Can you please tell me what engine replacement options there are, it is currently a 1.0 C 1986. I dont want a lot of work so an old carburated engine is probably easiest, whatever doesn't need the car to be massively modified. If a more modern ECU engine can go in without massive rewiring I'd consider this. What are the options please guys?
cheers
Greg

not a massive choice really
any 1300 out of mk2 or mk3 will go in...the injection ones arent too bad as long as you can rob all the wiring and fuel pump
the mk3 1300 gt is a good choice
or a mk3 golf 1400 abd would go in..with the gt injection or a weber carb
theres also the g40 supercharged lump...but theyre $$$$
