Hello,
Need help!!!!
Just fitted eibach pro-kit springs in my polo.....so just to finish off i want to get strut brace for the front........
So, i was wondering if it is possible to fit front strut brace to my polo which is a 1.2L E(55) and what make should i go for? I noticed in few posts on here that a seat ibiza cupra brace would fit on polo's.
Please advice...
Thanks

I've got the seat sport on one mine (ibiza one) and it's great.
Get one, fit it yourself as it's pretty easy to do. But you may need 2 people.

Have a look on either of the two Seat forums - someone posted a Seat link when I asked - or just ask the Seat dealer to order in a Seat Ibiza optional MOMO sport strut brace - the cost is £55 I believe. Other than that just go onto the Seat website and look for merchandising of something.

Which engine do you have? Just in case the lesser engines with the bigger airboxes cause a problem - oh and have the dashboard rattles quietened down a bit since you fitted it - maybe a picture pls if you have a large engine covering airbox!

Although, on some strut braces you need to undo 3 bolts...the rest's the same.

It seems to be quite a tight fit againt the seal and its actually touching the metal part on which the seal goes on....is this OKay?

Also have you noticed a reduction in the dashboard noises?

No noises from behind the dashboard, strange!?! - it can't be a Fabia/Polo/Ibiza then as that was what was included to give these cars character!
Back to the original question, "did you need to remove the security cover from the engine's ECU" - or had it already been removed before you bought this car?
