Do they really give you better performance. Thinking about getting one, worth it?

U realy need a cold air feed to get powergains really and the vipers are 220quid and the bmc is 175 i think, try a second hand one itl be fine but u need a cold air feed induction kit, theres loads to choose from but loads of ppl have bmc ones, i think my viper looks better in the engine bay than a bmc, all red and that!

Dave,

If you're interested I've got the old BMC I had on my GTi sat around doing nothing. Filter probably needs cleaning out properly but otherwise it's all in working order.
