TT engine in a 9n?

I have been thinking about putting an Audi TT engine in my 9n. Anyone know if this can be done or if anyone has do it. I know its going to take alot of time and money but I think the smile on my face at the end would be worth it. Any advice would be great. Cheers

lol, ceedubya's car's changed again! It's now running approx 380bhp and has been fully resprayed in porsche GT3 White.

Cheers ModifiedMadness found some old posts by ceedubya and what a vehicle it sounds like. Been looking into the more today and a riend of mine who runs his own garage is willing to take on the chalange. So the hunt is on for all the parts I will need, its going to cost me a small fortune but hey I am sure it will be worth it. Watch this space lol

should be easy now as the 1.8t standard in the polo gti find a smashed up one and swap over the lot ! thats the easiest and cheapest option!

then fit a 6 speed gearbox

it aint as easy and as cheap as alot of people think
