30,000 mile service & more warranty work!

My GTi is at the dealers again, went in for service, got them to look at rear spoiler as paint was blistering and brake light keeps filling up with water! Spoiler is being replaced as are rear calipers which are seizing up, Am also waiting for a decision on my corroding alloys! Dealer agrees they are bad, hopefully will be getting 3 replaced.
Still gonna have to buy 1 myself as it's kerbed slightly

Warranty runs out in April so want to get everything sorted by then!

Hey LAN, I assume all this work was done on your original 3 year warranty with the motor...not the extended warranty when you buy a used motor?

Yeah, It's on the original warranty, will definately be taking out some kind of extended warranty though, anyone got one with warranty direct?

I think Josh was talking about taking one out and then when he enquired about the finer points of the policy it turned out to be a bit of a scam...something about using your own garage but you need to pay up-front and then claim back the money...but how likely will you get all your money back? I'm sure someone else must have more knowledge...
