Drivers side heated mirror

Hi people

As title drivers side heated mirror has stopped working. Is it fixable without replacing the whole thing? thanks any help welcome

It could either be a dodgy connection in the door join, behind the door card, or the element in the mirror has gone

If its the element, its just a case of replacing the mirror glass with a new one which is about Â£25

I would check the connections first, just to be safe

Can you vag com it? test the connection that is.

Not that I am aware of. Its a multimeter job buddy. Just check the resistance on the element from point to point
