Ive got the GTI Xenon headlights on my polo and the lights on the side of the xenons look yellow. Do you have the bulb that will fit them and give out a bluer light to match the xenons?

either LED's which i'm sold out of or the blue looking bulbs (W5W) will give a slightly better light.

These types of things have always confused me, If I want an HID look, what do I need to buy? Is it the Bulbs? Or an HID kit? If so what bulbs or what kit? If I can do a cheapish immitation with bulbs that would be great, i just need to know what I need?

^ You need blue vision main bulbs such as these....

http://www.powerbulbs.com/bulb_finder.a ... 662&bulb=1

and led sidelights for maximum blue..

http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/automotive-b ... 1_129.html

(Those links might not fit your car btw)

or you can invest in a xenon kit which is £100 plus..

Right, for a proper HID look, you want a HID kit. Like this kit here:

http://www.hids4u.co.uk/store/product.p ... =16&page=1

There are quite expensive for bulbs, but totally worth it. UK-P users get discount too 8)

Alternatively you could buy a set of Phillips or Powerbulbs or something from powerbulbs.com. These won't look remotely like HIDs, but offer good light dispertion and do look better than standard bulbs.

If you want the HID kind of look (blue tint), but are not bothered about bulb and light quality, get eBay paint bulbs. They're cheap and pretty poo for brightness but they're the next best thing in terms of looks to HIDs. These are good for fogs or full beams, but not ideal for dipped bulbs at all really.

For full beam bulbs, follow the same advice above.

Sidelights, get these. no questions:

They're bright, and white and match HIDs perfectly.

Hope this all helps.

Sorry for the hi-jack Howard!
