Remote Central Locking

Have my 05 polo now for a couple of months now. Said I have to do some work to it now. I have central locking on my car, what i want to do if its possible is to try and make it remote central locking, does any one know if this is possible. The last thing i want to do is do any damage to the ecu.

I am sure you can buy kits but some people have trouble getting them to work. You could try getting one and taking it to an auto electrician if you aint that good with that kind of stuff

Our used 02 Polo came with remote central locking, but the remote (and associated alarm etc) is a Gemel Serpi-star, not Volkswagen issue. You can buy them here - http://www.abacuscaralarms.co.uk/alarms ... /index.htm

No idea if ours was fitted by a pro or a previous owner - but apparently there are instructions on the site above (for members only).
