raceland manifold

im going to wrap the manifold and just wondering which bit needs to be bent to fit past the sump?

Can i wrap the main four that go into two?

You can't bend a raceland manifold, either get it of the head, or just fuss about with getting the wrap between the manifold bend and sump.

does it not need bent went fitting though? I thought the pipework that connects to or just before the cat, had to be heated and slightly moved in order to clear the sump?

I know it's a real close fit, but I've never heard of having to bend it though.

I saw one fitted in a GTi converted 6N. Where if he had had it wrapped they would've been touching.
