i need to fix and extend some of th wires from sensors and connectors in my engine.whats the best wire to use?

Standard modern insulated multistrand copper wire....

This place will sell it to you... In any colour (which is a good idea to keep colours the same!)... Make sure you get the right size!!



Or..if you want to save a fortune, get down to your local scrappy and hack out a section from a crashed polo....or anything else..

Sorry about that.... trying to do too many things at once!


When I built the wiring loom for my kit car I used new wire from them... came to about £150 for the entire loom...


For the TVR I went down to my local scrappy.... tore the loom out of two mondeos...... and had enough to do 2 looms for a fiver..... Its a messy task removing all of the tape off the old loom... but worth the saving!
