Now now, no need for that. He's just trying to sell something!

Ah my bad!

That's what happens when you browse more than one forum at once. Easily confused.

Personally I have a Sony Sub in my car and I pretty much rate it well, as did most of the people who saw it as the last southern meet :P

Or at least that's the impression I got...

i dont rate Sony car stereo stuff at all, and i like to think i know ICE quite well
for that price, you could pick up much better stuff
eg alpine or pioneer, JL are good subs

I guess, but considering that the amp and box I have was in total £60 I think it's pretty good :P

It's the 15" hexagonal (red) Xplod sub :)

In most Halfords they have a deal on for it.. so for the money, it isn't half bad :P

i use the same amp, powering 2jl audio w3's. i'd recommend not buying the sony subs, as apparently the build quality is crap. however, i've been using the amp for several months now, and it shakes the hell out of my car(mk4 polo). needs a hefty power cable tho. you can get the amp on ebay new for about £150, or from various other sites. choose some other subs tho, the w'3s i use sound loud and clean but cost £200 from the shops. you can get them online for less, but make sure the site offers a warranty, as jl audio doesn't authorise online sales.

I got a Sony Xplod Kit.

Sony Xplod 12" 1200W 350W Rated Power. 350W Amp, and box all for £140.

When looking around I saw Amps of that power for like £80 ++ and the Sub for £70.

I rekon its good. Had it bout 2months now, all is well not a single problem yet, Im kinda gettin used to the bass, used to be slightly painful before, lol.
