Mk4 16v (6n) 280mm Big Brake Upgrade & Rear Disc Convers

Post by sc00byd00byd00 »

Hey All,

I've managed to source some Corrado G60 Front and Rear Brakes.

I know that the Front Calipers/Carriers will fit straight onto the Mk4 16v with no issues, my only concern now is that the Corrado Rear Disc Setup will fit also.....

For the Rears, I have; Calipers, Carriers, Hubs, Stubaxles. Has anybody done this to a Mk4 Polo yet and if so, will this work or am I barking up the wrong tree ?

Thanks in advance,

Scott

hello mate, fronts are easy (guide in DIY section) but im pretty sure the only rear set-up u can use is from the 6n2 gti, the stub axles from the corrado are different iirc.

Eyup,

Had my brakes upgraded, using the Corrado bits. Just need to upgrade the Master Cylinder now. Anybody done this before on a Mk4 Polo to something like a 23mm Mas Cylinder off a Corrado VR6 ??
