Server Move - Next few days - Please tell me of any issues!

Post by Josh_PoloGTi »

Hi Guys and Girls

I'm migrating the forum to a new server over the next few days for better performance.

Please let me know if you experience any issues... josh@tigerstyle.co.uk

Cheers

Well, all being well you guys should now be happily using this new forum.

Please let me know if you get any errors... It's been surprisingly painless to migrate, so I'm worried I've missed something... This sort of thing NEVER goes smoothly!! :D

Are the colours going to change or are they staying like this? I liked the old colour theme

Hi

This is the default style... I need to check whether the guy who made the old style has updated it for v.3

The user info being on the right of posts is a bit annoying... Not sure how (or if) I can change it just yet, but we'll see.

Same here, liked the grey/blue scheme. S'pose get used to it!

I see there is an option for Avatars, although not enabled, is this going to be used? What about some more smilies!

All that aside, looks like it'll be a good base for development. Well done Josh! 8)

I think it's either Avatars OR Sig Pics... One or the other.

I'm also going to enforce the Sig Pic size rule (as it's an option in this new version) so watch out you big-sig dudes!!

I've just noticed the 'online' banner!!

Why don't you put a vote out to see which one everyone would prefer, Avatars or Signature Pics!

I agree. Avatars give the forum space a much 'cleaner' look. 8)

Change is inevitable :)

We needed to get up to the latest version for security and performance reasons.

I don't like the fact they're big bubbles - I like an outline for everything . . .other than that I think its way nicer. Nice job.
