Weird Noise when driving
Getting a weird "woooo" or "wooing" noise when driving, especially when I accelerate. Now this isn't what I'd call a whining noise, and it definately isn't coming from the gearbox. I've only noticed it in the last few weeks. The car seems to drive normal, it's just really annoying me. Car has just hit 52k now

Could be your belt mate, mine made a strange wooing sound when it was on it's way out.
It was very obvious however, and would'ntve lasted more than a day if it was left like that.

Timing belt? :O Bloody hope not, it was only changed March last year!
Not sure about a wheel bearing, I would of expected a higher pitched sound. You could even describe the sound as air flowing through a crack in the wall making a low howl
