Growling/grinding noise

hi

i noticed yesterday when the cd was changing over there is a growling/ grindng noise. so i turned the stereo off and listened. it seem to be comin from the back more than the front. and more when my foot is off the accelarator and the car is slowing down on its own. any ideas on what it culd be ???????
