mk7 gti seats into a mk5

Anyone know if the seats from a mk7 polo gti will fit into a mk5 gti

anything can be made to fit, will just need to fabricate up some subframes

Similar sort of thing has been done by a guy called Dan...Put what i think is Golf mk5 Gti seats in his Lupo

Are they the rears also in the Lupo?! or just the headrests?

Dunc how much would custom subframes set me back with you? ball park figure.

No idea... without seeing the seats and investigating im not sure how much materials and time it would require... anything from about £15 up to £60 for a pair I would imagine depending on just how complicated it is...... but as I say, without looking at the parts and working out whats needed... I honestly cant imagine there is much in it....

I did a similar thing in my TVR...fitted new cerb seats... had to disasemble the seay base and weld up some adapters so they would bolt to the floor...

He has kept the standard Lupo rear bench and modifed the Golf GTI rear headrests so that they fit the Lupo bench, according to his thread on Dubclique :)
