Hi Can any one suggest where I can get an adaptor to be able to fit this exhaust I have the full exhaust from the down pipe back to the back box. I won't be using the down pipe or the cat as the original one is completely different of course. I will be ussing the middle section and back box only. the pipe for the gti is far bigger in diameter. I was thinking of cutting part of the pipe I don't need off and using that to build up the diameter by cutting a piece out of it so it will tighten up when the clamp is being tightened up.
Any suggestions are very much welcome. Cheers in advance. Sandy

Hi Thanks for the quick reply. I took the car into Budget and the lad there fitted the back box with out too much hassell the pipe on the tdi is 49.5 mm and the gti is 50.5mm so it fitted snuggly just a u clamp and some putty and thats it on. new rear gti valance fitted today so car is almost complete.
