9N rev counter

Post by traveller23 »

I don't know if this should be in this section or not so apologies.

Lately I have noticed that when I start my car, the engine starts as normal but the rev counter needle does not go to idle level until about 2/3 seconds later, the car works fine no issues and when i drive the car rev counter works as normal. Like I said I have not noticed this before, is this normal.

COMPLETELY NORMAL FOR BOTH PETROL AND DIESEL AS THE CAR WILL IDLE A BIT QUICKER ON INITIAL START UP AND WILL THEN SETTLE TO NORMAL IDLE SPEED NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.
