Removing 3rd brake light cover

How does this come off? is it just a pull hard jobbie? tried at the weekend but it didnt feel like it was going to come off in one piece :shock: :?

I think you've got to take the plastic bit off the inside of the boot lid to get it out.

FISRT OF ALL YOU NEED TO REMOVE ALL OF THE PLASTI BITS ON THE TAILGATE AND BE CAREFUL AS EASY TO DAMAGE THE CLIPS. YOU WILL THEN SEE THE TWO STAR HEAD SCREWS WHICH MUST BE REMOVED AND THE UNIT WILL THEN BE ABLE TO BE TAKEN OFF. THE CABLE CAN BE DISCONNECTED TO REPLACE LIGHT UNIT. REFITTING IS RESERVAL OF THE REMOVAL PROCESS GOOD LUCK.

As above but the screws are pozi and there are 4

YEP you are correct it was a while since I had the rear light off so going by memory, I am sure that you will have got the just of what you need to do to remove and refit by now cheers sandy
