If only VW took a gamble and put the PD150 in the Polo and ESP as standard, they would be on to a winner with an engine that already wins over the hearts of diesel lovers.
Rumours I've read say it's prob gonna have a version of the forthcoming Turbo FSI engine in the next golf GTi detuned to 170bhp. Should make for a 0-60 time of around 7.5-8.0 secs and a top speed of about 130 mph.

The intercoolere for the pd150, does not fit in the Polo platform cars.
VAG just held a 2005 model seminar to her worldwide dealers, and no pix or spec were given out(b'coz it ought to be kept secret), but my SOURCE is very reliable...mate
