Post by stefano7689 »

Hello guys my name is Stefano, :)
I am Italian and I write in English but is very difficult for me!. :(
I am writing here because I believe that you are very good.
I would like to get to 100hp, my engine is 1.4 16v 75hp ( AUA)
How do you recommend to proceed? *hae*
I have already put in little things but first I want your advice to spend less and make it go more powerful!

Hiya mate, there's not alot you can do for small money. Standard engine modifications cover:

better air filter (BMC CDA)
better manifold (stainless steel, 4-2-1)
full exhaust system (2.5" straight through de-cat)

then maybe
uprated cams (schrick)
Remap to suit all the above.

Yes it will achieve atleast 100BHP with Exhaust, Manifold, BMC CDA, Cams & Re-Map perhaps 110BHP if your lucky.

That is alot of money to spend though, it would probably work out cheaper to buy the 1.4 100BHP POLO (very rare however).

Probably better to concentrate on styling rather than power :D
