Hi guys im going to look at a vw polo 1.4 sport on a 52 plate its got 70k on the clock

just wanted to know when the cambelt is due on this car and is it chain driven

Belt driven, 4 years or 60,000 miles - ie it should have been done and you should be thinking about having it done again, including the water pump, within the next 18 months.

Like the man above says. Make sure you phone around for some quotes too so you know how much it is likely to cost so you know how much to haggle off. Can be 'big money' if you will use VW!
