(i'm currently relearning all the pixel painting skills lost when i moved off the 16-bit floppyputers into the PC realm - for making emoticons and avatars with! There's a surprising lot you can do with 19x19, 96x96 (and, annoyingly, a lot you can't).... or, excellently, 95x19 for a banner as MSN lets you use up to 5 at once seamlessly. Yet to attempt 38x38 but i'm sure it can be done)
