lock problem

hi wondering if any one can help. got a problem with the central locking. the car locks except on the drivers side. i have tried using the key and the same problem that it won't lock. i can hear the mechanism moving but the door doesnt lock and the door pin stays up. any suggetsions?

Could be the cable which pulls the lock mechanism has come undone. There is a little hook on the end of a cable which pulls the lock closed.
If you take your door card off then you should be able to see if thats the problem.

It happened to me and I just had to squeeze the hook a little tighter with some pliers.
