How many Miles when the petrol light comes on?, Mk5 Polo GTi

Hey guys just a quick one does anyone know roughly how many miles the mk5 polo gti can cover when the petrol light comes on? i read the manual it

says it comes on when theres about 7 litres left in the tank, roughly how many miles is that if ure just driving normally?

hmmmm, i reckon i did about 20 miles when the needle said completely empty to the car conking out. if that's any help!

Ive pulled just about 50 out of mine, but that was a push and a half!

Most I've got from my petrol light was 30 miles and that was pushing it.

ive only ever dared to go about 20 miles max with it on lol also aint it bad for the engine to run with the light on?

i thought on the VW they have a reserve tank, theres a little button on your filler cap or so ive heard?

I never go more than 20. I'd expect 50 from it though if I had to!

I dunno about 10 litres, but £10 of higher ron (BP ultimate, high octane, V-power) in this cold weather and eco climate, will get me about £65-70 miles.

i see the higher ron type didnt seem to do any different for me £10 of that or the normal stuff does the same miles as what you have spoke of although mine is closer to 60 miles which seem quite high?
