Replacing both wing mirrors

Both my wing mirrors have now finally given way to bashing and need replacing. Driver's side is full size and the passenger one is stubby. They're both electrically adjustable. I'm looking to source the parts and have a go a fitting them myself.

A few questions:

* Can I get away with fitting MKIII mirrors to my MKIIIF Saloon? In other words, are they the same fit? I ask because Euro Car Parts list the MKIIIs (in stock) at half the price of the MKIIIFs (back order) but they appear to have the same spec.

* Is there a fold-away version sold? The reason the current ones are wrecked is because they don't fold in and seeing as I have to park on a main road this would be a boon.

* How difficult are they to fit? I ask as a complete amateur with plenty of tools but no experience...
