urgent help please

Hi all,

I currently have my 6n2 gti with the wheel off. i am trying to remove the tie rod end from the steering rack. i have slid back the gaiter and can see the bolt but cannot get a spanner in the space to hold it while i remove the tie rod.

any ideas how to make this easy?

If its just the track rod end you are trying to remove...

you should have no issues getting two spanners on it... one on the tie rod end, one on the nut.... loosen the nut, and then use marlgrips to hold onto the actual rod whilst you unscrew the rod end from the rod... simples

yeah you're right, did it relatively easily.

Still have severe negative camber though
