Hello Skooty, welcome to the forum.

Is that a Polo Style you have there ? Looks nice with the colour coding and interior.

It's called "Prego" around here, but I guess you guys in England got other names fot the different versions.
Pretty much basic Polo with a 1.3 40 kW engine. 5-speed gearbox, Rev. counter, sporty chairs, dark taillights/front indicators and painted bumpers. If i'm not mistaking, it was an 'action model' here in 1993 and 1994.

Nice car! Are those the original seats for that model? Or are they from a GT?

These are the original seats, came with the 'Prego' package :) Looking 4 some new, though, cause the drivers chair is bend a little (right shoulder is further back then left shoulder) and the locking mechanism of the passenger chair jams from time to time.

Hello again.. :)

Post by Skooty »

Hello again... i'm already looking around at this forum for over a year now, but haven't been posting that much. Also this introducing-topic could use some updating, because I got myself a nice purple G40 'Genesis' instead of the respray of the Prego that was planned

The car is of '94 with aproximately 110.000 km of experience :)
The previous owner already made some mods, of which lowering (60/40) and fitting a stainless steel exhaust system where most important. Apart from that, the engine is completely standard. Polished the engine-top-thingy (what's that called in English?) myself and got some more plans for it, which are all waiting to be carried out..

Ooh.. that's a bit of a rarity.
Engine top thingey = rocker cover in english ;)
Very nice though.. love that colour :D I wanted to spray mine that colour originally, until I realised what it would cost
