I am now in a position to sell my Polo due to working in London and using the train everyday. I bought the car back in October 2009 as a day to day run around. It's been a great little car and has been looked after excellently during its 13 years!
It has extremely low mileage for its age - 58,000 original miles!!
This would make a great first car, or a daily driver back and forth to work etc. Have a read below to see the spec:
VW POLO 1.4CL 1997 - R reg'd
Mileage - 58,000 - Metallic Green - 5 Door - Sony Stereo 10 Disc CD changer (in boot) - Immaculate Interior - Factory Fitted Tilt & Slide sunroof - PAS - Front Electric Windows - Mud Flaps all round - SE alloy wheels - Central Locking - Electric Mirrors - New Brake Pads - New Water pump - MOT'd until Sept 2010 - Taxed until Aug 2010 - Extensive Previous History.
There are only 2 small negative points about the car:
Firstly the central locking is a bit temperamental it will lock from the drivers side but not open, so you have to open on the passenger side not a great problem but thought I'd be honest! I think this needs a new pump which is about £25 on ebay - and an easy fix!
Secondly, as per all VW Polo's there are small area's of rust on the rear quarter panels - (See Pics). Apart from this, the car is in really good condition.
There are a few scratches here and there etc. but you would expect that on a car of this age - the car is currently garaged.
I am advertising this car on ebay on a 5 day listing - Buy it now of £1195.00, which for this condition of car is a bargain!
