diy central locking !!!!!!

Has anyone fitted central locking to a mark4 6n before I was wondering if it was a diy job or one best left to the experts !.Appreciate any light on the subject, buy from,how much online diagrams etc.All help really appreciated.

central locking kits should come with detailed instructions. demon tweeks have anyway.

Ive just had an alarm fitted to my mk4 5dr the guy has wired it up
so i can get central locking done at a later date Â£25.00 for each motor
the only door that can't be done is the boot as it seems to have the wrong sort of lock ! any ideas ?

yeah go to a breakers and take the locking mech and stuff out of a cl or one with central locking and use the boot lock as mine has central locking in th boot

Ditch the handle off the boot and fit a solaniod! your boot should be full of ICE anyway so theres no need for practicality!
